Really look like a family right? LOL.

Off to the lakes to explore! and also the villages. but we stopped by a candyshop first and saw these jellybeans.

We were drawn to these ducks who were quite entertaining, they keep putting their heads down (maybe looking for food) or have swimming contests with each other. Some were feeling cold too, having their cute little feathers as close to them as possible to keep warm.

and we headed to Grasmere, a village we were told that we must visit by the owner of Holly House and she’s right! it’s a really beautiful village with picturesque landscape and friendly hikers.

We walked like there’s no tomorrow, in hopes of getting closer to the lake but it’s so difficult! Seems like most of the lake is being closed off for conservation, which is a good thing if not I guess I wouldn’t be able to witness such a beautiful lake.

SLUG! Chong insisted that I take a photo of it because we have not seen a slug in our lives :p

Oh and look at how far we are from the lake šŸ˜¦

Fortunately, we managed to find a cafe that is right next to it! but of course, we have to purchase something which obviously is priced exorbitantly.

Which is why I drank 3 cups of tea. and also because it is a chilly day hee šŸ˜‰

I seriously am amazed by their jumping skills. I had to muster up all my courage to stand on the plank, smile and take a photo…to do a jump is like suicide to me. #nojudgingplease

And we ended our day with a movie (5pounds/ticket) – I don’t know how she does it. not very impressed by the movie because there’s no climax at all.
