Vltava river (Prague)

Did you like my beauty posts or did you miss my travelogues?

I have 2 more beauty posts lined up (or at least I have the photos for them already!) but here’s a page out of my traveling diary first. X

After Prague castle, we were all DEAD beat! We walked like a million miles T__T

We were thinking of grabbing some dinner from a pizza stall nearby and head back but Zach insisted that we go for a boat ride. I don’t mind of course, because I love boat rides. Like seriously, I love all sea activities! I am not sporty but I love the sea/river/lake. Which, was what when I planned our England itinerary, Lake District was in it :p

In the end, 4 of us ended up going and the other 4 headed back for a rest. It was a pity because the view that we saw was spectacular and I would probably stab myself if I hadn’t gone. Ok, I’m not even sure if anyone read till here or you just scrolled directly to the photos.

Peektures TIME! (in case you didn’t know at all, you can click on any of the photos, not just this post but all posts, for a big-ass image. you are welcome.)

We were terribly lucky, because the guy was about to close for the day so we are the last ride!

And ta-da!

wtf I don’t even know if I should write anymore in this post because my words can’t beat the photos.

I felt like it was the perfect timing to go for a boat ride, because it was not hot at all and we get to see the sun set. Ok not exactly sunset but the colors changing in the sky while the sun set was simply astonishing. I’ve never ever seen such colors before. I didn’t even edit my photos much! The sky was really blue, gold, reddish, and then purple before it got dark.

For those heading to Prague, I would highly recommend YOU to go for the pedal boats instead of those motor boats because they would be cruising along too fast for you to enjoy and take in the scenery. And go around 5-6pm to experience the sunset (depending on the season, it would be great if you are able to check sunset timings, if not you would have to be damn lucky like me), because they close at 7pm and you get the boat for an hour. You do want to get your money worth right? 😉

I will never forget the chilly breeze, the brilliant colors and the laughter we had at the sunset on the river along Charles Bridge.
